Two-Player Shatranj on One Device
Put the Screen Between You
Play face to face without a physical set. Put one device between two people, take turns, and pause whenever you want to talk through a ferz or alfil.

Clear turns, one shared board
White plays first and Black follows. Set the device between you so both can see the 8×8 board, even with no network.

A useful way to teach
Pause over a key move, check whether the ferz can step farther or the alfil can leap a filled square, undo if both players agree, and try the position again.

One board, one set of rules
Two-player Shatranj stays on a fixed 8×8 grid. White moves first, the ferz steps one diagonal, and the alfil leaps two. For a fair set, play two games so each person takes White once.
